JEL SmartCon ES

With the JEL SmartCon ES attachment system, foil-lined big bags can be emptied under containment conditions. As such, only minimal, hardly measurable quantities of product particles can escape into the air around the machine, protecting operating personnel from highly active and harmful substances and preventing high dust loads produced by finely powdered products.

Operation

The big bag outlet must be placed over the emptying unit and securely fastened to the docking system with a pressure plate and pneumatic seals. With the optional leakproofness test of the JEL SmartCon ES attachment system, the big bag outlet can also be checked for damage before the emptying process begins. After the big bag emptying, the outlet can simply be tied up and separated off so that it can be easily removed with an engagement connection which is connected to an endless liner system. The operating personnel are guided through the process by a control system that specifies all the work steps.

• Generously-sized engagement connection with endless liner system
• Materials: Stainless steel 1.4301 (standard), silicone seals (other materials available upon request)
• A variety of surface treatments are available (standard: glass bead blasted)
• Suitable for outlet diameters 400 - 500 mm (other diameters available upon request)
• Length of the outlet beneath the connection point: min. 450 mm
• Optional: Pressure test before the emptying to detect any damage to the liner outlets
• ATEX version available (inner zone 20, outer zone 21, dust)
