JEL Palafix

The JEL Palafix centrifugal sieve is used in protective screening for loosening clumped product, removing dust and straining powder or granular bulk solids.

Operation

The product to be screened is transported into a screening cylinder of the eddy-current screening machine via a spiral conveyor and distributed evenly onto the sieve by adjustable multi-plates. The rotation speed of the multi-plates creates a centrifugal effect which causes the product to pass through the fabric. Over-sized grain or contamination is discharged from the eddy-current screening machine via the coarse material outlet.
