JEL Regula Standard
The JEL Regula Standard grading sieve is mainly used for the classification of expandable polystyrene EPS and is the first choice for all areas of application in which fractions of dry and granulated bulk solids must be classified within a screening process in a small area.
Operation
With a horizontal product movement on the sieve level, the continuous drive based on mass balancing ensures a continuous screening process for classification. The classification of EPS is carried out from fine to coarse and so from top to bottom the JEL Regula Standard grading sieve is loaded with coarser and coarser sieve inserts. The coarse material is carried along to the end of the sieve fabric with the rest of the screening material and simultaneously acts as a screening aid.

Machine features
The JEL Regula Standard EPS grading sieve is based on a compact modular design.
High selectivity for classification (up to 99%) Easy replacing of sieves via a lifting device Low dynamic loads Flexible configuration of the sieve stack possible Low space requirement Low energy requirement thanks to continuous drive Adjustable sieve inclination Rotary valve for optimum screening qualityConvincing facts
- Exact and economical classification of EPS
- Low energy requirement (e.g. 3.5 kW for 17,8 m² sieve surface)
- Quick and easy replacing of sieves (4 min. for 4 m² sieve surface)
- Quiet running (75-78 dB (A))
- Low dynamic loads
- Up to eight different fractions in one screening process
- High selectivity for classification (up to 99%)
- Easy adjustment of the sieve surfaces on each individual fraction
- Low space requirement thanks to layered sieve decks
- Dust-free model
