For feeding and discharging fine to coarse-grained products quickly and without any difficulties

By developing a special mixing system Engelsmann provided an optimum solution to a customer's problem. Pre-weighed components such as titanium sponge and granulated metal as well as very small quantities of titanium dioxide or similar powders have to be coarsely mixed. It is the free cross-section of the inlet and the outlet valve that ensures quick and easy feeding and discharging. As no additional equipment is used, there aren't any obstacles and product accumulation can be avoided. After gentle and even mixing of the product the mixer can be completely discharged without any residues.

The picture shows the mixing system consisting of:

a double-cone mixer type DKM 250-150 with drive and machine base
a pneumatic shut-off valve DN 400, with guide cylinder on each side
inlet/outlet hopper
machine base with four built-on proximity initiators for positioning of the valve
